Maggie is a graphic & web designer by day, multimedia artist by night. Coming from three generations of self-made small business owners, it’s no surprise she wanted to start her own someday. After a decade of freelance and agency work, she sought a fulfilling personal creative outlet that would combine her career skills with the growing desire to spend less time on a screen. Thus, Oncemore was born.
Ares is a self-taught artist of many facets, finding solace in a great deal of mixed media from a young age — whether it be drawing, sculpting, or sewing. They’ve always had a love of crafting, even finding themselves volunteering to help in summer programs for children to spread the love to a new generation. Nowadays, they take great joy in the intricacies and therapeutic rhythm of chainmaille and other mixed media decor.
Curtis excels at examining all materials used in projects, as well as supervising all outgoing packages. His favorite parts of the job are stress-testing beads that fall onto the floor, and posing as an extra in product photos.
Generative AI has absolutely no place with us/our brand. No photos, marketing materials, written materials, etc. will ever be edited with or generated by AI. We created Oncemore as a way to bring tangible pieces into the hands of people like us, who are fed up with the state of art right now.
Beyond the scraps and findings used in our products, Oncemore prioritizes sourcing our static materials (such as wire, chain, tools, etc) from small businesses rather than corporate conglomerates.
We've sworn off the use of plastic packaging, instead opting for recyclable or compostable materials whenever possible (often times we make our own!) Through Stripe, we have commited 1% of each transaction to helping offset carbon emissions.
Since we often don’t know the history of our findings, there’s no way to be certain what materials they are made of. When picking pieces, we try to use our best judgment and select higher-quality, hypoallergenic options – and when we’ve done so, we’ll label items as such. But to be safe, anyone with metal allergies such as nickel are advised to shop with caution. Furthermore, those with young children should be aware of potential lead or cadmium exposure.
Store your pieces in a dry, cool location, and avoid exposure to excess moisture. Some costume jewelry pieces made with zinc alloy or pewter might develop zinc/pewter pest that can spread to other pieces nearby if cared for improperly. (We do treat our pieces before shipping them out!)
We only accept returns for repairs, and we do not accept refunds at this time. Please visit our policy page for more information.
Orders will be shipped out between 3 and 5 business days from when they are placed. Our mail days typically fall on Monday or Friday, since we are both employed outside of running Oncemore.
Currently, we can only ship within North America (including the United States, Canada, and Mexico). We hope to expand internationally in due time! Be sure to subscribe to our email list, as we’ll certainly announce it when the time comes.
Aside from our Instagram and Tiktok sales, Oncemore does not plan to sell any of our products on third-party merchandise platforms (Etsy, Amazon Handmade, Depop, etc.) Any listings made by our brand on third-party platforms are not authentic.
